"Next to doing the right thing, the most important thing is to let people know you are doing the right thing." - John D. Rockefeller

The marketplace is the only place to achieve a real economic return on your sustainability initiatives.

If you are doing the right thing, you need to communicate this to the people who care – your customers and stakeholders in the marketplace.

Good communication is required if sustainability initiatives are to grow your bottom line.

Don’t get it wrong. A good story can easily turn bad and open you up to claims of greenwashing (misleading claims of environmental best practice).

Good internal communication is also critical (indeed more so than external). Getting the message right internally ensures stakeholders understand what is going on and why. Project success will be inextricably tied to taking your stakeholders with you and underlies Aura’s strong focus on education and participation.
